As a product manager you are making products a business success, based on market developments, by actively managing the product life cycle, from the moment of idea up to the withdrawal of the product or service from the product portfolio with the most profitable use of available budgets and capacity.

In this job you will work in the Business Unit Food & Beverage of Pentair, and more precise in the part called Membrane Technologies, situated in Enschede (the Netherlands) with a factory producing membrane elements and a workshop manufacturing prefab process units for a complete membrane system.
I am Mark Mol, working as Product Line Leader in Membrane Technologies; the position of Product Manager will report into me. A large part of the business in this product line is consisting out of beer membrane filter (BMF) systems. It is only two decades ago that our first industrial scale BMF was taken into operation in a brewery in Germany, the very first one worldwide! Today every two beer filters sold worldwide is a filter based on membranes.
Next, we are selling membrane elements for the filtration of wine and cider and for the separation of proteins in dairy. We are operating in a dynamic market, serving the large brewery groups in the world and multiple companies (so called OEM) in the wine and dairy industry. We are also cooperating with partners to be able to offer the best product for the customer. We are having a challenging and interesting future ahead of us, and the input and added value of the Product Manager plays a key role in this. Interested? Within the Product Category Membrane Technologies complete beer membrane filter systems are engineered, manufactured and on a turn-key basis delivered to the brewing industry. Next, membrane elements are manufactured and sold to the so-called OEM business, which are companies engineering and manufacturing filter systems for the food & beverage industry, mainly operating in wine, cider, and dairy.
