Tasks & Responsibility

  • Developing the business with OEMs and distributors in the territory Develops and maintains a strong relationship built on mutual trust, respect and cooperation with direct customers, channel partners, and strategic accounts
  • Identifies and develops project opportunities for Pentair membranes and housing solutions and develops Pentair’ positions with EPC/OEM companies especially with a focus on water and wastewater related Municipal and Industrial projects
  • Develops plan for targeting selected strategic markets/accounts for penetration. Develops strong relationship with (global) consultants and utility owners
  • Achieves sales and profitability targets
  • As and when needed, will prepare and compile proposals and costing to be submitted to the customers
  • Reviews tender /RFQ documents including terms and conditions of each tender/bid and summarize it for the proposal team
  • Coordinates sales activities and communicates customer requirements with other departments such as order management, marketing, manufacturing, logistics, operations, engineering
  • Coordinates and supports the project execution team in communication with accounts during the project delivery and execution phase
  • Resolves problems in and from the field that require special handling
  • Attends trade shows and assists in the selection and preparation of samples and promotional materials
  • Assists direct accounts and other channel partners with application and product promotion
  • Provides market feedback to Product Managers and Sales Leaders about the developments in the industry, with accounts, with competition and identifies trends and related requirements

I started in 2008 with X-Flow, as a service manager, and was enthusiastic to work with all the engineers delivering water and waste water membrane systems worldwide. Most of them had seen nearly all continents and where full of stories about the adventures and projects they had been working on. 14 years later, I am now looking for an new addition to the team, a sales manager Scandinavia, to start new adventure and build great relations with customers in this growing and game changing market. I’m Looking forward to the next 14 years. Feel welcome!

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) or equivalent

Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a (International) sales position with strong commercial exposure to Scandinavian industrial and municipal accounts, end-users and consultants

Minimum 5 years’ experience in water and wastewater related products or solutions

Capable of building up a strong network and customer relationship within the market segment and sales area

Proven experience in contract management, bid management, commercial discussions on bids and tenders is required

Experience with project management and commissioning will be a highly apricated added advantage

Fluent in Swedish is required. Willing to travel

A passionate sales professional with a strong emphasis to sell the unique technologies of Pentair

Hands on Team player mentality with strong communication skills
