As a Mechanical Assembly Engineer at Nearfield, you will be working on our state-of-the-art semiconductor metrology systems in our ISO 5 clean room and laboratories. Your mission is to make sure that all (sub)modules are integrated in the right way to create a high performing metrology machine for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble parts using drawings and instructions, including switch panels, cables, and mechanical components.
Perform partial tests on products and systems with team lead or colleagues.
Verify components meet quality standards.
Follow safety guidelines, identify risks, and report concerns.
Work according to timelines and inform about potential delays.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure timely material maintenance.
Collaborate with colleagues within the team and across areas.
