Hyva is looking for a Service and Support Engineer for our digital products for our digital tipping solutions. In this (international) challenging position you will become our support specialist and will provide support and training to your colleagues all over the world.
Hyva Digital tipping solutions are designed to increase fleet safety, efficiency, and productivity. The sensor-based monitoring systems adds intelligence to tipper vehicles. It provides advice and assistance which helps both drivers and fleet owners to make better decisions, improving safety and efficiency before and during the tipping operation. With our digital systems, drivers effectively have an in-cab assistant, a second pair of eyes, to show them what is happening during tipping operations.
In this role you will be the main support contacts for all regions relating to our digital systems. You will guide and support (customer) field tests and issues reported by our markets. Good communication skills in combination with process management, quick decision making, analytical and critical view and problem-solving mindset is required to serve and support our customers and local support teams all around the world.

I joined Hyva in April 2021 as a Service & Support Engineer of SMART. As part of my role, I support customers with their SMART system in the field, but I also support Test Engineers and build new SMART systems for customer trucks. Furthermore, it is my responsibility to have a support process to support all the customers around the world with their SMART system.
Working within Hyva has great opportunities and great colleagues. Every team has been supported to me, and they were willing to teach me about the HYVA products, and also colleagues from other countries and offices.
I’m working almost 8 years for Hyva where I’ve spent most of my time in the development of digital solutions for our tipper market. I joined Hyva Holding over 4 years ago. Starting in Project Management, I eventually became Global Director of IT for Hyva. We are currently restructuring the global IT department and our focus is on three pillars: Enterprise Architecture Modelling, IT Service Management and Data & Cyber Security.
Additionally, we are currently improving and further implementing IT Service Management processes to better support our almost 2.000 end-users. An enthusiastic team is working on this daily. Obviously, our Cyber Security Program keeps all of us busy by executing strategy, penetration tests, monitoring, phishing campaigns and all other related activities across the entire technical infrastructure.
Global IT consist of a fantastic, skilled team across the world. IT departments are based in the Netherlands, China, India, Brazil, Italy and Germany.

You are in the possession of an Bachelor degree in Engineering
You have at least 1 year of relevant experience
Has strong affinity with electronics and (commercial) vehicles
