Our products are used worldwide across a range of sectors including transport, construction, mining, materials handling and environmental services providers.

In our R&D department we are happy to welcome a new Field Application Support Engineer who will become the support specialist for our digital products for our digital tipping solutions. In this (international) challenging position you will be the one that advises and helps our colleagues all over the world in all kind of technical challenges. The focus will be to support (customer) field tests and pick up and solve technical issues. In fact, you will be the first point of contact for all regions around the world regarding our digital prototypes and field validation systems.

To do this successfully, you have of course very good understanding of the digital technologies that our R&D team are developing. But good communication skills are also essential. In addition, your planning and organizational skills help you work efficiently. You are analytical and have a quality-oriented attitude. Your problem-solving skills are also a great asset in making this position a success.

All these qualities combined will enable you to advise and support our customers and service teams around the world in case of problems and breakdowns.

I am working for Hyva since 2018 as project manager Digital Product Development. Hyva is the forerunner in digitizing their product portfolio. Together with the project team and Hyva colleagues all over the world we are transforming the tipper trucks to a new, safe and automated experience for the drivers and fleet owners. With our SAFE agile project approach, we are able to adjust to market demands and circumstances in a well-controlled and fast delivery pace. What I like about working at Hyva, are the enthusiastic colleagues and the help and support you get all over the world. Hyva is a family where people look after each other, and I always feel welcome and at home where ever in the world.

I joined Hyva Holding over 4 years ago. Starting in Project Management, I eventually became Global Director of IT for Hyva. We are currently restructuring the global IT department and our focus is on three pillars: Enterprise Architecture Modelling, IT Service Management and Data & Cyber Security.

Additionally, we are currently improving and further implementing IT Service Management processes to better support our almost 2.000 end-users. An enthusiastic team is working on this daily. Obviously, our Cyber Security Program keeps all of us busy by executing strategy, penetration tests, monitoring, phishing campaigns and all other related activities across the entire technical infrastructure.

Global IT consist of a fantastic, skilled team across the world. IT departments are based in the Netherlands, China, India, Brazil, Italy and Germany.

Your main tasks and responsibility

  • Define and maintain the global support process for our digital tipping solutions;
  • Provide 3rd line support to the service teams in the markets;
  • Support regional and local product managers with inquiries of a technical nature;
  • Capture, report and manage the resolution on any complaints, identified quality issues or other forms of feedback from our counterparts in the markets;

  • Continuously improving the product knowledge base to ensure it is easy to share knowledge across the organisation;
  • Develop product training materials, and provide training to sales and service representatives globally;
  • Execute required operations for cloud services and remote software update management;
  • As part of a broader product launch or release cycle, offering on the ground support to see through first installs, or helping set up local (1st & 2nd line) procedures to support the product.
