For the HQ departments that are assigned to you, you will act as the HR center of expertise and of HR services. You will execute operational and strategic HR activities AND a wide range of HR admin tasks while providing expert advice, guidance and coaching to line managers.
The position requires a good understanding of working in a global SME, a Small Medium Enterprise. The focus is on doing, on making things happen. It requires a hands-on mindset, as well as the ability to act from a strategic, both corporate and more longer term perspective.
In summary: as our new HR Business Partner you will be taking care of a wide range of operational and strategic HR duties as well as all required HR admin tasks. You will be implementing, supervising, maintaining and overseeing that HR targets, strategies and processes, also at our local HQ level, are compliant with the global, corporate wide HR policies. Please note that for some administrative activities a good command of the Dutch language is required.

YOUR MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Employee Expert, Strategic Partner & Change Agent
- Act as local point of HR expertise for designated teams at our HQ in the Netherlands, serve as their contact person for all issues pertaining to local and global HR;
- Ensure compliance to labor law obligations and global HR policy, strategies and concepts;
- Offer operational and strategic guidance to stakeholders to actively raise their understanding of and expertise in operational, tactical and strategic people management / HR issues;
- Provide feedback to key stakeholders and question and challenge them to get to the root of people, organization and business issues;
- Initiate and monitor actions with regards to Hyva’s position as a Great Place to Work;

- Create and advise on sustained solutions to team and individual employee challenges;
- Participating in and/or leading HR projects;
- Advise on making and timely implemention of training and development plans;
- Prepare and review compensation and benefits packages;
- Ensure proper onboarding of new employees and contractors, as well as the exit of employees;
- Liaise between local management, global HR and external partners for expat and mobility related issues.
HR administrator
- Act within the HQ HR team as the focal point, as the specialist for HRIS and Payroll matters;
- Take care of all the required HR payroll and administration duties for your HQ teams;
- Administer data in the automated payroll and HR information systems, ensure timely update of employee records;
- Coordinate salary payments in cooperation with the finance department;
- Perform payroll cycle when required;
- Create reports for the HR department and measure KPI’s;
- Ensure that the HR group is informed properly in case of any changes in the HR system;
- Keep the HRIS manuals up to date and accessible for users;
ABOUT YOU
You have significant experience in working within an all-round HR role, preferably in an international setting;
You know what it takes to support busy managers in their people management role;
You enjoy driving the HR agenda execution, getting things done and engage you key stakeholders;
You easily switch from strategic, tactical and operational level;
You are disciplined, you plan & organize your work and have a good eye for details;
You have a strong command of HR systems. HR payroll and administrative tasks are for you a kind of second nature. You are very familiar with ensuring a smoothly running payroll and an up-to-date HRIS;
You are dedicated to driving HR service excellence;
Fluent in Dutch and English, other EU languages like German, Polish or Italian is a plus;
You have a high level of organizational and cultural sensitivity.
