For our HQ in the Netherlands we are looking for committed GLOBAL OPERATIONS CONTROLLER. You will act as a Business Partner for our COO and his senior leadership team (operations, procurement & supply chain).
In this very nice, but demanding role you will be developing, implementing and measuring financial and non-financial key performance indicators (KPIs), preparing and assessing all kinds of businesses cases, measuring product costing and cost reduction initiatives and providing ad hoc analysis.

What would be your key responsibilities?
- Support in review of operations business performance through reliable reports and analyses, and advise on performance improvements;
- Challenge the business leaders and provides pro-actively recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial and operational performance.
- Responsible for driving performance management by developing, standardizing, automating and measuring financial and non-financial KPI’s for Operations.
- Manage the group’s standard costing process including an in-depth review of annual updates of standard costs across the group.

- Define, implements, and deploys group wide accounting policies and procedures for cost accounting and other operational relating accounting matters such as warranty etc. etc.
- Oversee and improve the planning and spent of Operation’s CAPEX including first review of all significant business cases (‘CEPO’s), provide independent opinions on behalf of Finance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international stakeholders through the sharing of knowledge and collaboration.
- Provide key support to functional and business colleagues in the various regions, factories, also in contemporary presentation of financial data.
- Play a key role in ERP implementation to translate demand of operation and related finance domains
What are we looking for?
University degree (Master preferred) in a Finance related study;
At least 8 years’ of relevant professional experience in Business Controlling / Operations Controlling within a dynamic international business environment;
Easily building bridges and energized by supporting senior management in making strategic decisions by providing them clear insights on regional and product performance as well as investment proposals;
Strong business sense and planning & organizing skills;
Very comfortable with (visualisation) reporting and analysis tools;
Knowledge of Integrated Business Planning / SI&OP;
Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing and preferably in one other languages like Dutch, German, Mandarin or Italian.
