In continuation of Hyva’s successful strategy this vacancy at our HQ in the Netherlands has arisen for a key business controlling position as a global R&D & Product Management Controller .
In this very nice position you will have a major impact on the success of our product lines of business. You will be reporting to the CEO and provide your main business stakeholders (6) with the monthly and ad hoc insights to identify opportunities to reduce costs, increase efficiency and mitigate risks. POSITION OVERVIEW
You will be the driver of financial performance management of Hyva’s Product Management Lines Of Businesses (‘LoB’) and Hyva’s global R&D function. In this versatile and demanding role, you will be developing consistent and proper reporting of the monthly actuals (including variances analysis to planned numbers and prior periods) and the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets and the 5 year strategic business plan. In addition, the Controller supports the LoB Directors to prepare G1/G2-NPD and P1-SPD business cases for new projects, supports in updating all phase and gate related financials, participates in the gate reviews and tracks the actuals vs project assumptions / targets for a period of 3 years post implementation.
As our new controller you will provide support to the CCO, CTO, CFO, LoB and R&D Directors and other senior managers on financial matters in respect of LoB’s and R&D, challenge the current state and propose pro active improvements.

What would be your key responsibilities?
- Establish together with Group Finance a clear financial business planning process.
- Manage the R&D and LoB departmental budget and forecasting process.
- Participate actively in all key LoB and R&D meetings, prepare financial updates and take ownership of all financial related matters around these meetings.
- Support to LoB and R&D in preparing business cases for NPD and perform post go-to market profitability reviews.
- Provide insights into commercial performance to the LoB’s.

Project and business:
- Provide support to management on financial matters and/or executes ad hoc analysis in respect of LoB’s and R&D.
- Improve (cost) accounting for R&D projects.
- Provide insight to Project Manager, CTO and LoB in respect of project cost.
- Perform benchmark analysis to compare Hyva’s performance against competitors.
- Manage together with the Regional Controller and Group Tax compliance with the HNTE requirements in China.
- Supports the implementation of ServiceNow within R&D.
- Co-establish and maintain a solid process in respect of Gross Price List.
- Manage the transfer pricing compliance process for IP/R&D.
