Control Tower Specialist - Planner at e-LLis

Your challenge

e-llis is a Logistics Service Provider established in 2011 in Maastricht-Airport, the Netherlands. We provie data-driven, customer-centric logistics solutions that can optimize even the most complex supply chains.

This position requires planning of logistic tasks and optimal planning of transport within the given transportation network. Clear communication and being a team player are a great add to the position. In this position you have a lot of contact with people from Central/East Europe and you are responsible to maintain contact with customers, carriers and shippers to quickly and accurately solve possible planned delivery discrepancies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Create the planning schedule ensuring the agreed lead-time and service level for onsite/retailer/warehouse delivery and follow up with any delivery discrepancies on daily basis.
Monitor 4PL performance on daily base.
Control the planning and logistics KPIs.
Control logistics issues and claims.
Support continuous logistics ad hoc tasks.

Solve un-planned transport events on daily base.
Propose continuous improvements for the planning and logistics KPIs.
Follow up logistics issues and claims with solutions to any operational abnormality.
Support continuous logistics performance improvement plan (ad hoc tasks assigned).

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of related work experience
2-5 years related work experience in Supply Chain is preferred
As a person you are: flexible, creative, solution oriented, diplomatic, friendly, solution oriented, optimistic, a hard worker and having a proactive work attitude
Able to speak and write both English and Dutch on a professional level. Other languages are a plus (i.e. French, German, Turkish)
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Access is a plus)
