Your challenge

As a Business Analyst Logistics at HYVA you’re responsible for the logistical processes of the IT/ERP related upgrade(s) and implementation projects within an international (global) team. For example; we are currently implementing Infor LN 10.7 globally.

You provide regular functional support to users within the Global Hyva entities in all stages of the implementation project. To give you an idea, we are currently active in 110 countries and have 12 production sites all over the world! You work closely with the Global team, understand the processes involved and provide insights to users, enabling all stakeholders to reach better decisions, all in compliance with Hyva policies. You act as the liaison between the business and ICT department; provide input on business cases in support of projects; participate in or facilitate business process modeling and research efforts.

I joined Hyva in 2015 as IT Manager in Hyva Brazil, working as Project manager and Business Analyst Logistics as well. I was transferred internally to Hyva Head Office in the Netherlands in 2019 as a Global Business Analyst to be part of Global ERP Project implementation.

I appreciate the opportunity that I could grow within the organization and transfer to another Hyva location. It has been an amazing experience both on a professional and personal level.

As part of my day-to-day work, I do mapping and discussing business processes, comparison with best market practices, and implementing new systems and functionalities to support the Hyva growth.

Being part of the Hyva Team is very dynamic, fast-moving, and fun at the same time. I’m leading/participating in global projects, working together with colleagues from other locations and external providers. Together with the Team, we are fully dedicated to go the extra mile for successful project delivery. When needed we “ rolled up our sleeves” to support each other to come up with new solutions to meet up to the business demand.

Business Analyst

I joined Hyva in January 2020 as Business Analyst. During my first year, I was responsible for the implementation of Infor LN (10.5) Finance in Spain and Portugal, setting up the system, training and supporting users. Because Covid-19 kicked in, we worked remotely, an experience from which we learned a lot. Then I continued with the USA and Mexico project, going live in January 2022.

I admire the energy and dedication of the colleagues and I like the ambition of the organization to globally implement Infor LN CS. With people from various genders, countries and experiences the Business Analysts form a great team with a mix of complementary individual qualities. There is a good atmosphere in the team, so I am looking forward to many more years at Hyva.

Global IT Program Director

I joined Hyva Holding over 4 years ago. Starting in Project Management, I eventually became Global Director of IT for Hyva. We are currently restructuring the global IT department and our focus is on three pillars: Enterprise Architecture Modelling, IT Service Management and Data & Cyber Security.

Additionally, we are currently improving and further implementing IT Service Management processes to better support our almost 2.000 end-users. An enthusiastic team is working on this daily. Obviously, our Cyber Security Program keeps all of us busy by executing strategy, penetration tests, monitoring, phishing campaigns and all other related activities across the entire technical infrastructure.

Global IT consist of a fantastic, skilled team across the world. IT departments are based in the Netherlands, China, India, Brazil, Italy and Germany.

Who are we looking for?

You are in the possession of a Bachelor’s degree relevant for this position

You have at least two years of experience in this role, in Logistics and/or Manufacturing Business Operations or Systems

Hands-on knowledge and experience with a major ERP solution

You’re fluent in English (in written and spoken word)

You are involved in improving our ERP system (Infor LN 10.7), and have the knowhow.

Your main tasks and responsibility

  • Facilitates processes in functional areas such as Procurement, Sales, Services, Warehousing, Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Freight and Master Data.
  • Participates in root cause analysis to recommend product enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve productivity for both the business units and ICT.
  • Initiates, analyzes and sets changes, extensions and improvements of the ERP functionality.
  • Conducts preliminary investigation for all project requests.
  • Review requirements, specifications, test, support and training plans to ensure they are in line with business objectives on projects.
  • Serves as a Business Consultant and manages internal customer demands, proactively and by request.
  • Takes care of ERP implementation and optimization.
  • Supports the implementation of IT modules, IT components and interfaces in all stages of implementation.
  • Conducts interviews and performs analysis to assist on business cases for business projects or create business cases for IT projects.
  • Plans and executes appropriate tests, and coordinates the implementation with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advises and assists the users in respective business areas regarding the relevant IT environment.
  • Responsible for the functional setup of the ERP systems and related implementation and improvement projects.
  • Optimize IT processes and systems.
  • Participates in business process management team efforts to collect and analyze metrics and continually improve processes.
  • Supports ERP users (max. half/one day per week).
  • Making recommendations for product enhancements.
  • Participates in the daily end user support activities;
  • Maintains communication to monitor and improve business unit satisfaction with ICT.
  • Participates in business process modelling sessions, acting as a documentarian, co-facilitator, facilitator or subject matter expert in sketch sessions.
