Help leading organisations turn AI and data ambition into real business impact
AI is everywhere. But for many organisations, the real challenge is not having ideas about AI. It is knowing where to start, which use cases matter, how to build the right data foundation and how to turn technology into measurable business value.
That is where Capgemini Invent comes in.
For the Enterprise Data, Analytics & AI team, Capgemini Invent is looking for senior-consultants and managers who can operate at the intersection of business, technology and transformation. People who understand AI, data and analytics, but who are not hidden away from the business. People who can engage stakeholders, structure complex problems, shape use cases and help clients move from ambition to execution.
This search covers three specific roles within the same broader theme: business-led AI and data consulting.
The opportunities
Outcome Deployed Engineering Consultant
AI & Data Platforms
In this role, you work close to the client and help bring AI and data solutions into practice. You translate business challenges into concrete use cases, shape solutions and work with teams to move from idea to prototype, MVP or production-ready implementation.
This role suits someone who is business-facing, impact-driven and hands-on enough to make things work. Think of a consulting-oriented version of a Forward Deployed Engineer: close to the client, close to the problem and close enough to the technology to create real outcomes.
You may be a strong fit if you have experience with topics such as:
AI use cases
GenAI
LLMs
RAG
AI agents
data products
MVPs or proofs of concept
AI implementation
business technology consulting
AI-Ready Data Senior Consultant
AI only works when the data foundation is strong. In this role, you help clients become ready for AI by improving the way they organise, govern, manage and use data.
You work on topics such as data strategy, data governance, data quality, data management, data operating models and data foundations for AI. The focus is not only on technology, but also on making data usable, trusted and scalable within complex organisations.
You may be a strong fit if you have experience with topics such as:
data strategy
data governance
data management
data quality
data lineage
data architecture
data operating models
AI readiness
financial services data environments
tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Microsoft Purview, Databricks or Snowflake
Senior Consultant Intelligent Process & Performance
Process Mining
In this role, you help clients understand how their processes really work, not just how they are designed on paper. By using process data and process mining tools, you identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and opportunities for automation or improvement.
This role combines process thinking, data-driven analysis and consulting. It is ideal for someone who enjoys improving business performance through insight, technology and stakeholder engagement.
You may be a strong fit if you have experience with topics such as:
process mining
process intelligence
process improvement
operational excellence
process analytics
Celonis
SAP Signavio
UiPath Process Mining
ARIS
Lean Six Sigma
intelligent automation
What connects these roles?
These are not pure data science or pure engineering roles. The common denominator is business-led AI and data transformation.
Capgemini Invent is looking for consultants who can combine:
business consulting skills
practical AI, data or analytics experience
stakeholder management
structured problem solving
a strong understanding of how technology creates business value
the ability to move from strategy to execution
For candidates with 3 to 6 years of experience, the balance may be more technical or AI/data-driven.
For candidates with 7 to 15 years of experience, the balance may be more business, consulting and transformation-driven, combined with strong AI/data exposure.

What you bring

Not sure which role fits best?
That is exactly why we would like to have a conversation.
This search is not about forcing candidates into one vacancy from the start. The goal is to understand your background, your strengths and your ambitions, and then explore which of the three roles could be the best match.
You might be closer to AI implementation.
You might be stronger in data foundations and governance.
You might be experienced in process intelligence and performance improvement.
In all cases, the key question is the same: can you help clients turn AI and data into real business value?
